Leicester City 0-1 Stoke City: Magic Bojan Ends the Foxes Unbeaten Run
Stoke City came away with all three points from the King Power Stadium this afternoon, with their talismanic forward Bojan Krkic once again producing the goods when it mattered most.
Nigel Pearson’s side had gone into this game on a four match unbeaten run, but the defeat sees the Foxes rooted to the bottom of the table still.
Stoke City’s exciting frontline of Victor Moses and Bojan caused the Foxes’ defence problems all afternoon, but it was the home side who created the first half’s best chance when Anthony Knockaert’s effort was saved by Asmir Begovic.
Mark Hughes’ half time team talk clearly gave the Potters some impetus, with the away side slowly lifting the pressure and it was the former Barcelona man who once again grabbed his side’s only goal, with a terrific finish on the hour mark.
