2015 WCS Season 1 Premier League
After grueling and violent qualifying battles, players from around the world will now fight in the 2015 WCS Season 1 Premier League.
Starting February 14th, four groups will face off in the ESL Burbank studio in the USA, and four groups are played in the ESL Cologne studio in Germany.
Format of the event:
Group Stage #1 (Ro32):
Dual Tournament format, Bo3.
The 4 players of each group are split into two pairs and play each other.
The winners of these matches will then face each other in the Winner’s match.
The winner places first in the group and advances to the Round of 16.
The losers of the initial matches face each other in the Loser’s match.
The loser places fourth in the group and is eliminated.
The loser of the Winner’s match and the winner of the Loser’s match will face each other in a fifth match.
The winner places second place in the group and advances to the Round of 16.
The loser places third in the group and is eliminated.
Group Stage #2 (Ro16):
Dual Tournament format, Bo3.
The 4 players of each group in Round of 16 will face off similar to Round of 32.
Quarterfinals: Single-elimination playoffs, Bo5.
Finals: Bo7.

Prize pool of the tournament is $217,000 and 12,250 WCS Points will be divided among players as follows:
1 place – $30,000 + 2000 WCS Points
2 place – $15,000 + 1,250 WCS Points
3-4 places – $10,000 + 900 WCS Points
5-8 places – $8,000 + 600 WCS Points
9-12 places – $6,000 + 400 WCS Points
13-16 places – $6,000 + 300 WCS Points
17-24 places – $4,500 + 150 WCS Points
25-32 places – $4,500 + 100 WCS Points
1 place – $30,000 + 2000 WCS Points
2 place – $15,000 + 1,250 WCS Points
3-4 places – $10,000 + 900 WCS Points
5-8 places – $8,000 + 600 WCS Points
9-12 places – $6,000 + 400 WCS Points
13-16 places – $6,000 + 300 WCS Points
17-24 places – $4,500 + 150 WCS Points
25-32 places – $4,500 + 100 WCS Points
